Train on the Highlands (3 Days)

A short trip to some of the most visited places in Ecuador.  In the first day we will visit Cotopaxi National Park and in the afternoon drive towards Riobamba.  The next day a drive in the top of the train will show us the beautiful landscapes of the highlands.  The last day we drive to the highest mountain of Ecuador, “Chimborazo”, until we reach the first refuge.  Here is optional to you to go in a one hour hike to the second refuge, and in the afternoon we take our transport to return back to Quito.

Route of the Sun coming from the Highlands (7 Days)

This trip includes the magnificent Chimborazo Volcano and of course the typical ride in train.  Continuing from the highlands to the coastal part of Ecuador, we visit a small town called Huigra, this is a town in the middle of the Andes and the Coast.  Finally we arrive to Guayaquil and make a city tour.  After Guayaquil, we began our trip in the “Route of the Sun”.  This special route began at Salinas beach in the Guayas province, and ends in Puerto López at Manabi province.  All the way we are travelling in a highway that was built along the shore of the Pacific Ocean, and we will pass through several beaches settled along the way.  In Puerto Lopez we will visit the Silver Island, small Galapagos (name given by natives), with a full day on a boat is possible to see the Humpback Whales from May through September, and all the year round in the island is possible to see a similar ecosystem as Galapagos.

Fantastic Ecuador (22 Days)

A great tour decision.  In twenty two days we are able to show you almost everything in Ecuador.  The highlights from all the above trips are included in one special package.  If you are looking for a trip that shows great part of the county, this is it.  The trip includes a ride through the highlands from Quito to the South of the Country until we get to Vilcabamba (the longevity valley) going through Ingapirca (archaeological site of the Incas), then we go to the coastal part of Ecuador, visit the only South American petrified forest and continue the trip to the North in the Route of the Sun, pass through Santo Domingo up to Atacames beach and San Lorenzo where the Marimba School is waiting for us.  Then we go again to the highlands to the South visiting Ibarra, “El Angel” Paramus, Otavalo (Indian Market), Cochasqui Pyramids, the Cloud Forest and finally arrive to Quito.
